April Asks a question…

My good friend April Groves puts out an awesome newsletter every Tuesday called Turn Around Tuesday, if you are not a part of her mailing list I really encourage you to sign up!  I am not encouraging you to sign up because she is my friend.  I encourage you to sign up because, she always has some awe inspiring quote that just makes you say “YES APRIL” I HEAR YOU!

Where do you find inspiration, motivation and a general “pick me up when I am feeling sorry for myself” quip?

After the great learning week I had I really had to take a step back and think.  Do I have a pick me up?   What do I really do when I feel sorry for myself (Aside from happy hour…  He He…)  So, I too have to really think about what does… Would it be really sad to say I read Harry Potter?  All the damn time…( ok complete over exaggeration but I read them allot)

So, really I need to think about this some more!  
And I encourage you to do the same!

LEAP YEAR! HAPPY LEAP YEAR!

 It’s Leap Year ya’ll and to be VERY honest…
I really have NO idea what that means!  And the only reason I have any idea that it’s acutally a Leap Year(aside from the extra day), Year is because my brother was born on Leap Year Day( is that even correct!??) 
So, in honor of my brother’s  you know what I did.?. I Wiki’d it…  and this is what I found out…

Happy Birthday to my baby brother he is like 7 in real life but, he will be turning 28 tommrow and in  two years he will be the FABULOUS three-O!!

Tuesday Feb. 19th… My birthday (learning lesson #2)!!

This week past was full of learning moments!  One was on my birthday.  We had an event with the Susan G Komen for the cure Foundation…

It was pink and beautiful. ( as soon as I have pictures I will post them!)
Events don’t come without drama!  This one had it’s own drama!  The florist had a rash of funerals( she was way behind…). 
Some of our bath salts broke… 
And some more of this and that….  That could make anybodies BP go up…

All in all everything turned out great!  The flowers showed up and was just beautiful! 
The bath-salts…  Well we had enough for a parting gifts nobody left home empty handed… 
The cups for the candy table were supposed to be bags…
The biggest stressor? The food….!  Everybody went home with smiles….  So, all in all…  I had a little bit of faith that in the end everything was going to work out and you know what?  It did…  I absolutely love my career!

It’s Post Secret Sunday! I didn’t forget ya’ll…

I got a couple of emails asking me were is my Post Secret Sunday…  I didn’t forget…  I just was feeling REALLY bad… All last week I was having chest pain that radiated into left arm… And Sunday evening/Monday morning I shot out of bed in pain… And I thought my heart was being riped from my body I lost my breath and from that moment on I was in alot of discomfort.  Jason did wind up taking me to the ER and was diasnosed with something called Chest Wall Pain…  After they pushed on my chest ( REALLY HARD… ) and I said ouch….
I think I have a little bit more going on…  They gave me Lortab for pain and a new BP med but, the Lortab doesn’t even come close to making me feel better… Just really HIGH! 
They didn’t take any sorta labs or anything like that… 
I guess I am starting to feel better… I am blogging so, I guess …
But, then again it could just be the Lortab… HAHA!  Here is your post secret sunday:

Must’ve been a fish…

I am going to be giving my babies my own little(fun) water babies sesson this summer…  
Yep! I said ME!  I am water certified in anything you can think of! Accept SCUBA!  
If you happen to live in my area( libery Co ,Bryan or even if you want to make a drive) and would like to join for me a bi- weekly play date with me and the boys…  I will be teaching a mommy and me water familiarization class!  It’s free! The only thing that I ask if you do bring your children..  Please bring sunscreen, a towel, I will supply the pool and all the toys!!
I will have a roatating lunch schedule…  The first week I will make lunch and then thereafter I will have  a weekly sign up sheet! 
At the end of the session I will give your baby a water certificate of completetion along with a small picture album!  I have been doing this since I have been 18 and it’s something I love to do! 

ALSO, as much as I hate to do this…  Please be advised I will be having my mommies fill out something saying in the event something should go wrong we will not be sued. 
Please let me know if all you mommies in my area if you are intrested in doing this! 

Sat. 16th…

Was the one of the  Groves’s girls first last birthday…  So, she had a dual birthday party for both of her youngest girls.  They were born 51 weeks apart…  So on the week of Valentines… They are the same age…  Yep wrap your mind around that!

I almost did not go! 

And I have to be honest with you guys as too why… 
My two oldest children are in the  autism `spectrum.  Which means that their social skills are affected and they can come across as unruly, rude or what ever other preconceived notion one might have of children in the spectrum.   Don’t get me wrong April’s family has been wonderful when it comes to embracing my children so, it’s not like we haven’t had play dates before… 
It’s my own mental (road block)  It was something I needed to get over. 
Everything in baby steps….  So, what did I do?  I jumped right in the fire… HAHA

I have to tell you what the night held…

Adults catching up on life in general…  Even though April and I see each other on a weekly basis we are like too passing ships…  We say hi bye and see you soon…  With the promise to call and then before you know it… BAM the week is over and no phone calls…  It’s Called LIFE!!  The really cool thing about April and I is when the business hats come off…  We can pick up right were we left off!  You don’t find girlfriends like that everyday!
The night had mnay high points but, as a mommy let me tell you what was one of mine…  My children ( all of them…)  Behaved beautifully!  When you live day to day with Autism…  you never know what to expect.  
Saturday the 16th I was so proud of them!  They  played well with the other children, they said please and thank you…  And most of all ( YAY )  Victoria didn’t have ANY MELT DOWNS….
I could not have asked for a better day all the way around GREAT COMPANY!  GOOD TIMES!  And AWESOME FOOD!!!
I am so happy to have had the privilege to share such an awesome day with April and her family!  What an amazing group of people! 

The princess is back in the house!

I had to take a break from bloggin!  I had so much swimming in my head and I needed some me mental time!  Many learning points happened last weekSo much happened in the past week.  I am going to blog about it in segments!  My birthday was this week(feb 19 ).  I turned 32..  And I have to tell you guys something!  You cannot pay me enough to go back to my 20′s I am lovin my 30′s! 
I am sure of myself! 
I have confidence! 
And I am FAB-U
 Just call me Leo the Late Bloomer!  Anyways… I am going to blog about my week starting with LAST Sat( Feb 16 )….
