This is from the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy a show that Jason got me addicted to… It was shocking to us because of the make shift vows Derek and Meredeth made to each other…
Jason and I said basically the same thing to each other…
He was the one who…:
Booked the officiant
Found our intimate private venue
He WANTED to get married…
He did everything… All I did was show up…
When we watched that episode… Both of our eyes got big and of course I cried but, this is basically what we said to each other as I was getting dressed…
He layed out his clothes(before I did and hid them) because it was a surprize to me… How romantic is that…???? Anywho here you go… We don’t have our vows on post it notes… But, when I look down at my ring I always will remember how excited he was to call me his wife…
Derek: Meredith.
Meredith: No. You know, let’s go. We gotta go. We’ve got to run to city hall. We’ll come back. You’ll check on Izzie. We’ll monitor John Doe. I’ll go talk George out of joining the army.
Derek: Look, we can do this another day.(Me)
Meredith: There is no other day! Every day is like this. Every day, there’s a crisis. There’s no time. (Jason)
Derek: Meredith.
Meredith: I love you, and I do want to marry you today, but there is no time!(Jason) Derek: Do you have a piece of paper?
Meredith: For what? Derek: I want to be with you forever, and you want to be with me forever, and in order to do that, we need to make vows. A commitment. A contract. Give me a piece of paper.(Jason)
Meredith: I don’t. I don’t. I have Post-Its!
Derek: Okay.(takes them)What do we want to promise each other? Meredith: That you’ll love me, even when you hate me.(ME)
Derek:(starts writing)To love each other, even when we hate each other. No running. Ever. Nobody walks out, no matter what happens.
Meredith: No running.(BOTH OF US!)
Derek: What else?
Meredith: That we’ll take care of each other, even when we’re old and smelly and senile. And if I get Alzheimer’s and forget you…
Derek: I will remind you who I am every day. “To take care when we’re old. Senile. Smelly. This is forever”. Sign.
Meredith: This is our wedding. A Post-It?
Derek: Mm-hmm. When you sign it.
Meredith:(signs it)Now what?
Derek: Now we kiss the bride.(they kiss)
Meredith: Married.
Derek: Married. See that? Plenty of time
Nobody runs… And so far so good… And we have been through hell and back… Trust me…
I held off on blogging about Melissa( from Jason’s the Bachelor season 13) because, I wanted to see how she was on Dancing with the Stars. The one thing that people fail to see about Reality TV is that sometimes a person will get bad editing… AND it was my person observation AND editing that Mel was a little on the clingy side, kinda a non-alpha type personality!
She was sweet and nice, beautiful and funny seemed to be the all around package. And she still is…
It is my personal opinion that Jason messed up…! BIG TIME!
Love Melissa!
I vote for her EVERY SINGLE WEEK.. and I make honey too… And of course all the women are half naked so, he is in hog heaven… OK, my husband is fabulous but, come on he’s a man…
But, back to dumb dumb Jason he can say whatever he wants, add the chemistry and whatever else BS he told us!!
She wasn’t the women for him and he got to humiliate her on national TV… blah blah blah…
She’s over it, I am sure it kinda stings it has too, but, Good GOLLY MISS MEL…
Paybacks are HELL! Have you seen Mel’s six pack!!!!???? You can bounce a quarter off her tummy… I could be a bit biased cause, when I was little I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader… Ask my mom( poor mom)…
I still kinda feel sorry for Molly in the back of her mind she has to be re-thinking this over and over again… But, I think pride WILL NOT LET HER “LOSE”, because she is a “winner” and she will not break up with him… Over PRIDE… even if she wanted too! I know how that feels too…
Either way… Mel came out winning in the end! And she is better off for it! Trust me! Here is her dancing the Samba which she got a perfect score for:
I start this blog with a HUGE smile on my face!
May 6th past… (The day we brought home our son) and May 9th the dates went past and I didn’t even notice; It’s been two years since I had to resuscitate my son, something a mother should never have to do!
Last year hit me hard, this year… I know that with everything I have learned, about myself, my faith and God, if I didn’t have something to grasp onto, I have no idea where I would be! It’s a complete triumph over everything I have been through these past three years!! I have lived and learned… And I am still here with a somewhat sane mind to tell you about it( haha) What an amazing feeling!!
If you happen to be going through a bad time
Maybe it’s a date, that you want to put out of your mind
It could be that last bit of hatred and resentment that keeps you from healing
Maybe your really angry at God for whatever reason…
Trust me time will heal those wounds…
In a song called the ( of all people Milly Cyrus ) The Climb
There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an up-hill battle Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side It’s the climb
There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be an up-hill battle
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side It’s the climb
Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It’s all about
It’s all about The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faithYour not going to win every battle… Your going to lose allot! Your not going to make everybody see your side… Some people their is no convincing… Your not going to be happy all the time… Life is hard… But, if you have faith that everything in the end will work out NO MATTER WHAT… EVEN if it’s not the ending you want it to me… It will… Have faith! From your new incurable eternal( worry-wort ) optimist! Trust me… Time heals…. EVERYTHING!!
Sarcasm-NOUN:
A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
Not really the definition I was looking for but, You get the point? In Savannah I am convinced more and more that drivers like to run over people! ( no sarcasm here…) Let me tell you why I made such a “slanderous” remark against my beloved city. A couple of weeks ago… We had couple of people get hit on a crosswalk( I think I’d better go back and re-read the story) Yes I was right… click here to read the story.
Back to yesterday. I know that a drivers in Savannah have a problem respecting crosswalks… I on the other hand have NO problem respecting cars…
Here’s my formula- Me ( even over weight..) + a car in a fight?= Me losing…
I was walking from Bay Street to River-street- ON A CROSS WALK with my little man on white with 14 seconds left to cross this man( in a silver Honda civic…) pulls out of his line of traffic and came inches from hitting me and another women crossing I was in shock and filter was OFF… And before I could stop myself all kinds of profanity was spilling out of my mouth:
1st- YOU JERK I am on a cross walk
2nd- CREEP YOUR AT A FLIPPIN RED LIGHT
3rd- YOU A-HOLE MY GUY WASN’T even blinking I had plenty of time to cross and you only had about 14 seconds left…
4th- SUCKER( replace with a F please) WHERE ON EARTH DID YOU HAVE TO GET TO SO FAST THAT YOU WOULD RUN A RED LIGHT… PUTTING TWO PEOPLE IN DANGER…
You would have seriously hurt- A mother, A sister, A wife…
I just wish people would stop and think before they act…
Here’s the funniest part of it all( not really) .. I was on the phone with my husband and he heard the entire thing… All he kept on saying was “honey…” “honey… what’s going on….” Because he knows if my filter comes off in public it has to be bad… But, on the flip side.. Can you imagine being on the phone with somebody you care about and listening to them being hit by a car?
Savannah has a BIG problem. In general.
Me?
I believe in the pedestrian having the right of way… It’s courteous… And being on the other side it can get annoying but… I have respect for life. Which I guess seems to be a BIG problem in this city…
Don’t get me wrong I do love my city! It’s awesome. If you do happen to come. Just be weary ifyou are a pedestrians be weary of cars and stay on the crosswalk… No matter what a car will trump a person every-time!
I really look forward to my new adventure… I mean Atlanta ( How can I NOT be excited!!??) But, the thought of leaving my beloved Savannah - My heart is sinking a little… Been here since 1993 it’s been the most stable home I have ever had… So, I am going to make the most out of my time… Here is [...]
